Son of a Pitch

Did you watch the Pitch Perfect and wonder why we don’t have that at Pace? Well, now we do! If you want to do some serious pitch-slapping, auditions are a-coming for the Sons of Pitches.

You down with S.O.P.? Yeah, you know me!

Founded in 2012 on Pace’s NYC Campus, Sons of Pitches is a premier student-run a cappella choir looking to make beautiful music—from Mumford and Sons to Beyonce—for Pace and beyond. But right now, they’re looking for just the right acafellas and acabellas to make it aca-happen. Too much? Ok, fine.

If you think you have what it takes to be part of the Sons of Pitches, prepare a verse and a chorus of any popular song from the last 30 or so years and get on over to auditions on September 16 and 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Room 509 of the new Performing Arts building at 140 William Street. Callbacks will be held on September 18.

And if you watch this video, they’ll tell you one thing: it’s going to be aca-awesome!
