Pace is thrilled to welcome Fatoumata Diawara for her first ever solo New York City performance on September 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Malian musician’s found her calling in music after working mainly in theater even playing the iconic role of Antigone and acting in popular feature films in France. She has become known for her incredible voice, gorgeous melodies, and infectious guitar playing, incorporating several different musical sounds into her personal style including funk, soul, and jazz. It’s a joy to have such incredible talent grace the Schimmel stage!
Pace students may purchase tickets for $5 with a valid University ID two hours before the beginning of the show.
For more information on the show and other Pace Presents events, visit the Schimmel website.
