Will You Speak Up for Women?

Spend your Valentine’s Day speaking up for women who can’t during an open mic night and benefit for Women Survivors of War on the NYC Campus.

A Dollar’s Difference, a student organization looking to change the world one dollar at a time, as they host a fundraising benefit and open mic for Women Survivors of War. Stop by the 2nd Floor Lounge of 106 Fulton from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on February 14 for live performances, screenings, food, and discussion concerning the condition and treatment of women in war-torn countries.

Proceeds of the event will go to Women For Women International, an organization that works in eight war-torn and post-conflict countries in Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East, and South Asia, to provide women survivors of war, civil strife, and other conflicts with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency, changing the world one woman at a time.
