On December 4, pack your knives and your culinary skills for an afternoon of cooking and culture at the Greek Life Cultural Food Cook-Off in the Gottesman Room on the PLV Campus.
If you’re interested in cooking up some delicious foods, you’ll need a team of no more than five members (can be a Greek org, a club, Residence Hall, etc.) Each team will need to choose a country to represent and come up with a corresponding cultural dish (appetizer, entrée, or dessert), and make 30 sample-sized portions of their dish for judges and spectators. Spectators will each be given a ticket, which will be used as ballots to vote for their favorite dish.
Four prizes will be awarded: Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert (each $100 prize awarded by judges) and a Crowd Favorite ($200 prize).
If you’re interested in participating, registration will be open until November 28 or until 30 teams have registered. First come, first-served.
The event is free to everyone, so come out and taste food and support your Setter sous chef.
