Oodles of Scholarships

Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a trip to Spain. Whether you’re a Dyson or Lubin student considering a field study or travel course this spring, or you’re an outstanding Lubin student and could use some financial help, you’re just a click away from more than $75,000 in scholarships.

If you’re a Dyson student who was thinking about a spring 2012 travel course including producing a documentary in Portugal, going from Wall Street to the Great Wall, discovering the treasures of imperial Russia, a modern odyssey in Greece, exploring Rome: The Eternal City, and much more, then Dyson Dean Nira Herrmann has some great news for you! 35 Dyson students will each receive a $1,000 award for spring 2012 undergraduate International Field Study courses. The deadline to fill out the International Travel Scholarship Application, which includes an essay, is December 2. Read more about the different courses offered here.

Interested in studying international business or management in Brazil? How about accounting in China or finance in India? The Lubin School of Business, through a grant received from the Figueroa Family Fund, is awarding scholarships for International Field Studies for Spring 2012. Students who are eligible can expect to receive approximately $1,500 per International Field Study. The deadline to apply is Monday, November 28 at 5:00 p.m. so fill out the International Travel Scholarship Application today!

This fall, 17 students were awarded $29,000 in Figueroa and Celentano field study scholarships to places all over the world from Singapore and Malaysia to London and Brussels. You can read more about the scholarships and field studies here.

Lubin students are also eligible to apply for the Lubin Alumni Achievement Scholarship Award, a $5,000 endowed scholarship award made possible by proceeds from the annual Lubin School of Business Alumni Achievement Award Luncheon. The award will be presented to two full-time Lubin undergraduate students (NYC and PLV) and one full-time or part-time (6-9 credits) Lubin graduate student who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, financial need, and service to the University and/or community. Apply for the scholarship by Friday, November 18.
