Our Big Fat Greek Week

Greek decathlon, lip-sync, letters in the library, can drives, and more. This week, it’s all Greek to PLV!

The tailgate kick off, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and rock re-painting may have passed, but there are still five nights of fun Greek Week events for you to Gamma Epsilon Tau to. See what we did there?

Put on your game face for the Greek Decathlon tonight, October 10, at 9:00 p.m. in the Willcox Gym. Greek Week Teams will compete in a series of ten challenges that will test your creativity, coordination, athleticism, and smarts.

Rock your letters and hit the books on October 11 at 7:00 p.m.! Stop by the Mortola Library for a Greek study session. Teams receive the points for bringing members and non-Greek friends to the library and studying.

Show your faculty members some love at the Faculty Appreciation Progressive Lunch on October 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Commute Lounge. Each team will prepare a dish, have a handout showing their scholarship efforts, and get to know faculty.

Can you help feed the hungry? Bring all your cans to the Setter’s Café by 3:30 p.m. on October 13 as the weeklong can drive ends. Cans will be counted and a can equals one point so get as many as you can! Cans will be donated to the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless.

On October 14, bring your best Ashlee Simpson to the Gottesman Room for the Greek Lip-Sync, where teams will choreograph their own original performance using a song that represents unity and judges will allocate points to the best teams.
