Speak Up!

Got something you want to share? Well, take the stage and express yourself at not one, not two, but three upcoming spoken word events on the PLV and NYC campuses.

On March 3, the Caribbean Students Association will host a Spoken Word night in the Student Union, where all the student artists and poets of Pace can take the stage and express themselves.

Also on March 3, but a little bit north in PLV’s Gottesman Room, the sisters of Omega Phi Beta continue their Week of Illumination with Speak Soleil, a spoken word event geared towards raising awareness and funds to protect women from violence. The event will cost $1.00, but money will go to support the University’s philanthropy, so come out and share your stories for a great cause!

On March 7, Sigma Iota Alpha will give you a taste of the famous Nuyorican Poets Cafe scene, with a 90-minute spoken word and poetry slam show in the Multipurpose Room by artists ready to shed light on different cultures. After the presentation, the floor is yours to share your talents and poetry.
