Almost Time to Go Fishin’

We know what you’re thinking…most ponds are frozen this time of year, but we’re not talking about any ol’ pond…and we’re not talking about ice fishing–though the thought intrigues us. We’re talking about the Pace Pond, full of fish and waiting for you to come and reel some in.

As the start of the semester quickly approaches, so does one of our favorite tradition: student org fairs.

Get your alpha beta chi on with Greek Life;  deliver the scoop with the Pace Press or Paw Print or spin that  record with WPAW or WPUB; put your classroom work to good use with organizations like the Pace University Marketing Association (PUMA), the Pace Advertising Teams, and Model United Nations; lay down the law with the Student Bar Association (SBA) and Environmental Law Society (ELS); and celebrate diversity with African Students Association at Pace (ASAP), Students of Caribbean Awareness (SOCA), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Gay Straight Alliance (GSA), and much more. Click here to learn more about NYC student organizations, here for PLV student organizations, and here for Law School student organizations. With more than 100 student organizations to join, it’s time… to break out the fishing pole for these once-in-a-semester student organization fairs:

PLV Student Organization Fair: January 26, 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Kessel Student Center

NYC Student Organization Fair: February 3, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Student Union

And remember, if you don’t see one you love, you can always start one! It may take some time and dedication, but you’ll be making Pace history.
