In this head-over-heels in love with love musical, Amalia and Georg are pen pals completely in love with each other. Neither knows they are fellow clerks in the same Budapest parfumerie who hate each other. Confusing? Think Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in You’ve Got Mail but with snail mail instead of email. In fact, You’ve Got Mail is an adaptation of She Loves Me, which is set in the 1930s. It’s charming and nostalgic, relevant and romantic, and the Performing Arts department is bringing it to you on October 27-31 at the Schaeberle Studio Theater in NYC.
