A Sophomore Soiree

You may be feeling like it’s all about the first-year students this week. But trade your frowns for food and fun, as the CAE hosts the Sophomore Kick-Off party to put your middle-child woes to rest.

On September 5, sophomores will be in the spotlight at the Sophomore Kick-Off from 12:20 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Gottesman Room and Patio on the PLV Campus, featuring free food, free t-shirts and giveaways, fun activities, and more.

Students will also have the opportunity to take a few minutes to participate in a special community service project: assembling homework kits for needy children in the community.

So stop by and mix, mingle, and make new friends all while contributing to a good cause!

Mentors for Sophomores

Are you a sophomore looking to connect with successful alumni for networking, knowledge, and guidance? Recent Pace alumni wrote in to let us know that your mentor is just a couple of clicks away.

Pace’s Alumni-Sophomore Mentor Program is recruiting sophomores for the upcoming year!

The Alumni-Sophomore Mentor Program, which launched in January 2010, matches volunteer alumni who have graduated in the last 10 years with current sophomores, giving students the opportunity to learn from others’ Pace experiences. The program was a hit last year, and students networked with Pace alumni, faculty, and professionals from a number of industries. If you are interested in having an alumni mentor or would like more information on the program, please contact Karlene Kreutzer at Karlene.Kreutzer@gmail.com
