This fall, the Pace Community will roll up our sleeves to make an impact on the local community in PLV as part of the annual Pace Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 19. Learn how you can become part of the solution by helping out for just a few hours on one special day.
This year, students will participate in beautification projects at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Northern Westchester Hospital, Pleasantville Village, as well as beautification and reading to children at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library, sorting donated items at The Sharing Shelf and the Pleasantville Rotary, and even some Westchester Campus projects. Check-in will be at 10:30 a.m., with an inspiring student speaker, followed by transportation to volunteer sites.
Students can sign up as part of a team (class, student org, residence hall) or sign up as an individual and you will be placed with other individuals or with a team. For more information, please contact Shawn Livingston, SDCA, at email@example.com or Lisa Bardill Moscaritolo, Dean for Students, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration will close on October 11, so sign up to lend a hand today! Visit the Make a Difference Day website for more information.
