Mind Your Bizness

Pace’s eLab kicks off the semester with a series of events bringing CEOs and successful entrepreneurs to campus to help you get your ideas off the ground.

The fun starts on Tuesday, September 24, when the Entrepreneurship Lab hosts the first in their Fall Speaker Series, CEO of TribecaDigital.com Eric Diamond, from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. at the eLab. Tribeca Digital is a full-service global digital agency that blends technical expertise and creative thinking to design, develop, and deploy innovative and engaging interactive solutions.

Next up on October 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room is the FreshBiz Entrepreneurial Thinking Workshop, a game simulation aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking skills. Observe yourself acting in a business environment through a game simulation and gain insights in your relationship to money, how to manage resources, how to identify opportunities, and how to create cooperation. Lead facilitators include FreshBiz creator and founder Ronen Gafni and founding partners Josh Weiss and Simcha Gluck. For more information and to register for this event, click here.

Other upcoming events include the Pace Mobile App Contest 2.0, forum on the role of universities in the NYC entrepreneurship ecosystem, a talk from NYCSubwayLine.net founder Lynne Lambert, and much more.

The Entrepreneurship Lab, located on the 3rd floor of 163 William Street, offers Pace students a unique space and environment to collaborate and innovate. The eLab aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset—a way of thinking and acting that focuses on developing new ways to solve problems and create value.
