Fashion for a Cause

Hold on to your fedoras, folks. The Schimmel Lobby is about to get fierce and fashionable as Styleta hosts its second annual Fashion Show and auction on April 1 in NYC.

On April 1, stop by the Schimmel Lobby on the NYC Campus at 8:00 p.m. to get high fashion and low prices—we’re talking 75% off designers like Betsey Johnson and Nanette Lepore (and this is not an April Fool’s joke)—and all for a good cause as Styleta hosts a Fashion Show and Auction.

You’ll have the chance to view Styleta’s collection of items as they model donations they have received and re-vamped throughout the year and buy them after the show. All proceeds will go to Chicktime, a new Pace chapter of a national grassroots organization that connects women to creative opportunities to pursue their passions while serving others and raising awareness for local women and children’s charities.

There will be free food and drinks and music!

Pace’s Styleta isn’t just any other fashion student org; they collect clothing donations and raise funds to support charitable causes through drives, photo shoots, and fashion shows. Check out some of their designer duds on the Pinterest page and make sure to like them on Facebook.

Love fashion? Love your community? Looking for a way to combine your passions and gain experience?  Join Styleta! Stop by Room W-625 at 12:20 p.m. on Mondays.
