Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and this year there is no reason to fret over not being struck by Cupid. The Greek Life at Pace is hosting several events leading up to Valentine’s Day to keep hearts healthy and stomachs full of chocolate-y goodness.
Delta Sigma Pi Chocolate Lollipop Sale and “Go Red” campaign (PLV)
During the week leading up to Valentine’s Day beginning Monday, February 11 in Kessel during common hour from 12:20 p.m. to 1:15 p.m, Delta Sigma Pi will be raising money for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red” campaign, which supports heart health and heart disease awareness. They will be selling Valentine’s Day cards and Go Red Pins for $5 and selling hearts for $1 that students may sign in support of this great cause. All money will go to researching heart disease in women.
Delta Phi Epsilon Carnations and Kisses (PLV)
Wednesday, February 13 during common hour, Delta Phi Epsilon will be selling carnations, candies, and other fun and tasty treats starting at just $1. Nothing says “I love you” to friends and sweethearts like chocolate!
Beta Bake Sale
On Valentine’s Day from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the brothers of Sigma Lambda Beta will be holding a bake sale in the lobby in front of the Birnbaum Library. Support Pace Greek Life by adding a little sweetness to your life!
Knowing is Beautiful
Alpha Kappa Alpha will be hosting an event on Valentine’s Day in the Student Union between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Sit in on a safe sex seminar, enjoy free gifts and prizes, and receive free and confidential STD and HIV testing. What’s your status? Knowing is beautiful!
