What is justice? In the real world, the answer is not always black and white. Join Professor Joseph Ryan, PhD, director of Pace’s Department of Criminal Justice and Security, for a talk on justice from a law enforcement perspective on February 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Birnbaum Library Student Lounge.

Professor Ryan speaks from years of experience grappling with concrete issues of justice and security–as an academic, an educator, a 25-year veteran of the NYPD, and a consultant to police departments and government agencies. Professor Ryan will discuss his work and the tough choices that come with trying to find real justice in a complex world.

Light refreshments will be served.
