Hoops There It Is

Keep out of the cold and cheer on the Setters at one of the upcoming Pace basketball double headers!

On November 28, the Pace Setters basketball team will take on Southern Connecticut State University in a nail-biting double header beginning at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This game marks Pace’s Community Day celebration with the Mouth Pleasant community attending the game free of charge and the first 100 fans receiving a 2012-2013 Pace University basketball schedule magnet. The half time shows will feature local CYO and high school teams’ scrimmages and fun performances by the dance and cheer teams. There will also be space for children’s activities including face-painting as well as refreshments.

Stay warm as December begins by stomping your feet and cheering on the Pace Setters in another lively double header on December 1 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. against Albany’s St. Rose College. Participate in the Greek Day and Women’s Alumni Day festivities. Every Greek organization will be invited and should attend to win the $500 up for grabs to the Greek organization that is most represented. Enjoy the free food in the fan zone section made available by Pace Athletic sponsors and grab a Pace Basketball 2012-13 t-shirt for only $3 with proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish foundation. There will be a women’s alumni scrimmage prior to the game’s tip off and alumni recognition during half-time.

Don’t miss out on the chance to support the Setters and show your Pace Pride. Read more at pacesettersathletics.com.
