Spring Gets Sprung at the Schimmel


Sex, suicide, and shame. Welcome to the Awakening of Spring at Pace on November 14-18 as Performing Arts students taken on Stephen Sater’s Spring Awakening, with music by Duncan Sheik, at the Schimmel Theater.

This groundbreaking, yet controversial rock musical about teenage self-discovery was banned from the stage for nearly 100 years, but would eventually make its way to Broadway in December 2006 and win eight Tony Awards.

Performances will be held on November 16-18 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
