Dig In

The Setters volleyball team goes in for the kill this week with three home games including Senior Day, Faculty Appreciation Night, and 80s Night.

Ladies, break out the legwarmers and shoulder pads. Men, make it a Miami Vice or MC Hammer pants night as volleyball hosts an 80s night against the New Haven Chargers on Tuesday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. Fans who are dressed the part will get free throwback Pace Volleyball merchandise. Remember, the 80s was all about excessorizing.

On Friday, November 9, they’ll show their professors some love at Faculty Appreciation Night with light refreshments in the VIP Room and free pizza for the first 100 fans in attendance and a match against St. Michael’s.

On Saturday, November 10, seniors will have the spotlight at their last home game and volleyball’s last home game of the season against Saint Anselm. Players will also toss small volleyballs into the crowd during the game.

The Pace Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host a clothing drive at all three Pace volleyball games to aide local resident’s in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. A kiosk will be set up on the track entering the gym for general clothing donations throughout each game. Cash donations for the relief effort will also be accepted and sent to the American Red Cross.
