Making Moves for MS

On April 29, every step counts. Join Pace and the MS Society in walking to create a world free of multiple sclerosis as the PLV Campus hosts the annual MS Walk.

Put on  your walking shoes and head to the PLV Campus on April 29 as the MS Society hosts “Walk MS,” their annual walk-a-thon, at Pace.

Dollar by dollar and step by step, Walk MS is changing lives. The largest fundraiser for the National MS Society’s NYC-Southern New York Chapter, Walk MS hopes to raise more than $3 million to help the tens of thousands of people in our communities living with multiple sclerosis. From community programs and services to groundbreaking research, funds raised during Walk MS will get us one step closer to an MS-free world.

Multiple sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and body and stops people from moving. We believe that moving is not just something you can or can’t do, but that moving forward is who we are. By participating at Walk MS, you are connected to the potential, the hope, and the momentum of the movement toward a world free of MS.

Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. in Lot D, and the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. You can choose a scenic 1.5 mile or three-mile route, which will take walkers through the PLV Campus.

Post-walk entertainment includes music provided by a DJ, light snacks, a Wall of Hope, and a Kids Zone with bounce house, face painting/balloon animals, cotton candy, and popcorn.
