Friends or Faculty?
Should students be friends with their professors on Facebook? If the University implemented an anti-fraternization policy, how would it be enforced? Or is fraternization an important part of a liberal education? And really, what is fraternization?
On February 6, stop by the Student Union on the NYC Campus from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to ask some questions and get some answers at Faculty and Student Relationships: A Discussion on Fraternization, sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies in Dyson in partnership with the Pforzheimer Honors College.
Featured speakers include:
Lisa Miles, University Affirmative Action Officer
Professor Susan Herman, Criminal Justice and Security
Professor Bill Offutt, PhD, History
Quinn Haisley, Pace alumna
Jake Jackson, Pace alumnus
Philosophy and Religious Studies Professor Harold Brown, PhD, will moderate the discussion.
Refreshments will be served.
