Serve the community, gain professional experience, and help pay for school all at the same time!
Sound great? The Pace University Community and Volunteer Mobilization (CVM) AmeriCorps program places students in local schools, programs, and non-profit organizations, where they serve the community by mentoring middle-school or high-school aged youth, supporting non-profit capacity-building, teaching computer or English language skills, or providing training and outreach on public health and safety initiatives. Positions are available at Pace and in the surrounding community. CVM AmeriCorps students must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week for 12 full months.
On top of making a difference and new friends, as a CVM AmeriCorps member, you’ll also receive a bi-monthly stipend, an education award of up to $2,675 after successfully completing the program, and much more! Visit www.cvmamericorps.org to learn more about the program or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also like CVM AmeriCorps on Facebook to get the latest on news and fun events.
