The Nobel Prize for Community Service

Know a student, faculty, or staff member whose community service efforts are changing Pace and/or the world? Nominate them for a Jefferson Award today!

Each year, the Jefferson Awards for Public Service looks for the “unsung heroes,” the selfless people who make the world a better place through volunteering and community service efforts. Known as the “Nobel Prize for public service,” the local awards recognize ordinary people who do extraordinary things without needing recognition. And we know there are a ton of you right here at Pace!

The Center for Community Action and Research is looking for students, faculty, and staff to get their nominations in for these awards. This is a competitive award and CCAR wants to make the best case for you or your nominee.

Nominations are due by March 1, so get your nominations in today! Read more about the 2011 Jefferson Awards for Public Service.
