Hop Into the Year of the Rabbit

Celebrate the Lunar New Year Pace style with some Chinese opera, lion dance, Korean drumming, and more on February 13 in NYC!


3, 2, 1, Happy New Year! Today may be the official start of the Lunar New Year, but you’ll have to wait until February 13 for the festivities to begin on the NYC Campus!

Join the New York City Council and the Confucius Institute at Pace in a Lunar New Year Celebration that will have you over the moon. Stop by the Schimmel Center to mingle with distinguished guests from various cultural backgrounds and enjoy an afternoon filled with traditional and delicious Chinese New Year food, fine music and operatic performances, a lively lion dance, Korean drumming, raffles, and more!

Please RSVP by February 7 to kmagee@council.nyc.gov to be a part of this great celebration of the Year of the Rabbit.

  1. A few friends and I wanted to come to the celebration but we didn’t RSVP. Can we still come by tomorrow?
