Pace students who registered for the free buses will leave the Goldstein Health and Fitness Center in PLV at 9:00 a.m. for DJ Henry’s memorial service being held at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center on October 29, what would have been DJ’s 21st birthday. If you haven’t yet, please share your memories of DJ Henry here.
For those who cannot attend the memorial service, the Pace Football Team will resume the season on October 30 in PLV, after cancelling last week’s game against Bentley. A short ceremony will be held before the 1:00 p.m. game against New Haven, which will include bagpipers leading the team out onto the field. Additionally, the first play on defense for Pace will only have 10 players to honor DJ.
As teammate and senior linebacker Jonfrey Sanchez said during the press conference, “DJ is Pace Football.” Please come out and show your support on October 30.
