Things to Do Around Pace: Haunt It Edition

Halloween may be a few weeks away, but the haunted houses are already open…waiting to scare the bejeezus out of you.

Sleepy Hollow is definitely awake this time of year! The Hudson Valley’s most electrifying Halloween event has tickets available for October 21, 28, 31, and November 5-7, so you better act fast before tickets to the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze (featuring more than 4,000 individually hand-carved, illuminated jack o’ lanterns) sell out. The scary part? Head to Horseman’s Hollow, which takes the tale of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow to its darkest extremes, on October 15-16, 22-24, and 29-30.

Also, be sure to check out Playland Amusement Park’s Scared by the Sound in Rye.

Looking for a fun haunted house in NYC? Look no further than this list of reviewed haunts brought to you by Time Out New York.

And how could we forget surreal insane asylum Nightmare: Superstitions, NYC’s most horrifying haunted house and AOL Cityguide’s number one rated haunted attraction in NYC!? $15 student rush tickets are available one-hour prior to showtime and $20 tickets are available on October 17. Make sure to check out Couples Night discounts and New York College Night on October 26.

Also in NYC, Blood Manor Haunted House, which includes werewolves, vampires, zombies, clowns (the scariest if you ask us), offers up $20 tickets on students nights (October 17, 21, and 24). Who says education doesn’t pay?
