Watch out for the paparazzi! Rahul Rai, star of the film, “When Harry Tries to Marry,” which was shot at Pace, is now a Pace student. Aside from juggling schoolwork, Rahul is getting ready for his world premiere at the Austin Film Festival…alongside dozens of A-listers.

Natalie Portman, Sean Penn, Hilary Swank, Jim Carrey, Kristen Stewart, Orlando Bloom. These are just some of the A-list celebrities scheduled to debut their films at the Austin Film Festival next month.

Alongside them, Pace student and star of the independent film “When Harry Tries to Marry” Rahul Rai will have the world premiere of his film at the Austin Film Festival on October 22.

Rahul, who was planning on attending NYU after his film wrapped, fell in love with Pace’s  NYC Campus when the film shot here last fall.

Pace performing arts professor Grant Kretchik, who encouraged Rahul to consider Pace, also stars in the film, alongside several other Pace students including Kayla Mason, Ginger Graham, and Julie Robles, who all blogged about their experiences.
