On September 7, join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and discovery at the Third Annual Convocation on the PLV campus.

Celebrate the start of your college career with a Pre-Convocation Fair, featuring clue passports to more than 20 interactive, informative, and fun discovery booths (many with giveaways), followed by an address from our keynote speaker Temple Grandin, PhD, whose inspirational life was recently brought to screen in the seven time Emmy-award winning film “Temple Grandin” starring Claire Danes.

Grandin’s appearance at Pace dovetails with this year’s Common Reading, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” a bestselling novel that imaginatively takes readers inside the brave and funny perceptions of a brilliant 15-year-old with Asperger’s Syndrome.

Afterwards, join us for a BBQ and festivities with some of our favorite inflatable games: velcro walls, bungees, and plenty of other fun games, and meet some new friends!

Free transportation (and snacks) will be provided from NYC, so no excuses for you new Manhattanites.

If that’s not enough, a 10% discount will be offered to the Pace community on September 5-7  at more than 25  businesses, including bakeries, restaurants, salons, and bookstores. Click here to view the participating businesses and print out the form, and make sure to keep an eye out for future discount programs in the coming months. You can also view a map of PLV here.
